The Lash Lounge Sandy Springs is teaming up with The Drake House to help raise awareness of their organization in the Sandy Springs area. The Lash Lounge will be supporting The Drake House with their “Bag Out Hunger and Homelessness” campaign by hosting a Ladies Night Event on Wednesday, November 15th from 6:30-8 pm at their salon. Attendees will be asked to bring a handbag filled with pantry items with the handbag going to The Drake Closet for resale and the pantry items to The Drake House.
Both organizations share the common goal of empowering women. The Drake House provides a short-term crisis and affordable housing program for homeless single mothers and their children in North Metro Atlanta. Their educational, empowerment, and mentoring programs assist families in becoming financially self-sufficient and contributing members of the community.
The Lash Lounge, located at 4600 Roswell Rd, Suite #E140 in the Gateway Center inside the perimeter on Roswell Road near Windsor Parkway, has agreed to be a Sandy Springs donation drop off location for the Sandy Springs Drake Closet Store, the third and newest Drake Closet location. The Drake Closet boutiques offer gently used clothing, accessories and shoes for the frugal fashionista and all proceeds from sales benefit The Drake House. The Sandy Springs Drake Closet is located at 6030 Sandy Springs Circle and open Tuesday – Saturdays.
Complimentary lite bites and drinks will be served at The Lash Lounge November event and there will be raffles items, prizes and swag bags for the guests.
