Want to help Flood Victims in Texas?

Want to help w flood victims in Texas?!  Drop things off at Dunwoody United Methodist Church on Wednesday 8/30 ONLY by 4pm….see below (water, diapers, formula & more) for what is needed.

Family members of some of or youth leaders are traveling to Texas Wednesday (today) evening. Their family is in Houston, and they have called asking for  help. Her father works at a church in Houston (Memorial Drive UMC) who is serving as a refuge center. They are in immediate need of several supplies to bring to the church and family. We desperately need  help to collect these supplies.

They are picking up at Dunwoody UMC within the early afternoon (Wednesday the 30th). If you can’t get to the store to buy the supplies in time, we can also send money to Cory and Casey through PayPal (gray.casey.a@gmail.com) or Venmo (@Casey-Gray-3), and anything they don’t use for supplies will be donated directly to the church. Casey’s brother is on the front lines of rescue, and I’ve attached a picture from their old neighborhood where he rescued several families, a neighborhood completely underwater. I know many of you are already giving to organizations and churches, but this is very close and personal to us, and we very much need your help.

This is going to immediate to a relief site that are still waiting on supplies from the government and NGOs. Please forward to friends who might be able to help!

Supplies Needed IMMEDIATELY:

-Clothes (including Plus Size)

-Underwear

-Toiletries

-Feminine products

-Baby Food

-Diapers

-Formula

-Towels

-Bottled Water

If you are able, try to package supplies in boxes for easy loading and unloading. Thanks for hearing our plea, and we are grateful for any and all support you can give. As a reminder, this is not a non-profit organization but rather a grassroots effort and won’t be tax deductible.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.
