Last Call for Grant Park Summer Shade’s Commemorative Poster Design Contest

Calling all poster design enthusiasts! The Grant Park Summer Shade Festival is hosting its second annual commemorative poster design contest in conjunction with the 2017 two-day festival set for this August. Taking submissions before midnight on Friday, June 30, 2017, designers are invited to create a brand-inspired commemorative poster that embodies the Grant Park community and spirit of the two-day annual music and arts festival. The winner will receive a grand prize of $150, a professionally printed version of the poster, and two weekend VIP passes to the festival. An annual tradition, the Grant Park Summer Shade Festival will welcome music and art lovers to Atlanta’s oldest park for two days of nonstop fun on Saturday, August 26, and Sunday, August 27, 2017. Presented by and benefiting the Grant Park Conservancy (GPC), a non-profit, membership-based organization committed to the restoration, renovation, beautification and maintenance of historic Grant Park, the 15th annual festival will once again feature an impressive lineup of live music throughout the weekend on two stages in addition to an expansive artist market, Kids Zone, 5K run, and a dedicated VIP area. Open to all ages and free to attend, the 2017 festival will also have a diverse selection of local food trucks with offerings for all tastes, Monday Night Brewing craft beer, Bold Rock Cider, and Frida Khalo Tequila and Status Vodka cocktails and more.
