Heritage Sandy Springs Announces New Outdoors Club

Sandy Springs, Ga, Heritage Sandy Springs announced the creation of its new Outdoors Club, which encourages residents and visitors to explore Sandy Springs’ local parks while meeting other outdoors enthusiasts. The Heritage Sandy Springs Outdoors Club (HSSOC) will host weekly urban hikes through Sandy Springs, to be held every Friday from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 9:00 am, as well as some special holiday dates.

“Sandy Springs shines with outdoor adventures,” says Erica Bibbey, the club’s volunteer Adventure Guide. “This place has been my home for 13 years now. It is filled with parks, lakes, rivers, and great people. With this in mind, I enjoy being one of the Heritage Sandy Springs Outdoor Club guides, because I want to encourage others to share in our wonderful community and outdoor adventures with a great group of people.”

The HSSOC kick-off events will be held on Friday, June 16 and Saturday, June 17. Each week thereafter, the club will meet for hour-long leisurely hikes at Heritage Green, Lost Corner, Big Trees, Island Ford, Morgan Falls, and more. The club is free and open to the public; all ages and skill levels welcome. Advance registration is requested, and all participants must complete an online liability waiver. Sign up for the Heritage Sandy Springs Outdoors Club and start a new adventure today!
