A mutual friend that I share with this local author gave me Jaybird’s Song to read several weeks ago. It finally made it to the top of my reading pile and I enjoyed reading it last week. I particularly savor novels set in Atlanta and could genuinely relate to the main character as she is just a wee bit older than me. Many of you may recognize the author’s name. She’s a long time columnist for The Dunwoody Crier. Grab a copy to read by the pool this summer. I think you’ll enjoy the local flavor and the Atlanta history!
