“All I wanted to do is sell some cakes and coffee,” Alon Balshan says of opening Alon’s Bakery & Market 25 years ago. “I was a one-man shop doing it all. Everything evolved from there. My biggest thrill is envisioning something in my head and seeing it happen.”
Alon’s now has two locations, in Morningside and Dunwoody, selling freshly prepared foods, handmade pastries, wines, cheeses and all kinds of delectable goodies in European-style markets.
