For most of you it will seem that time has flown since we first heard the news of the tragic car accident that took the lives of four wonderful UGA women on 4/27/16. Yes, it has been a year. My dear friends, Valerie and Steve Scott, will likely argue that this year has certainly not flown by for them. They have had to learn to do something horrible….live life on earth without their dear sweet daughter, Halle Grace. During this last year I have personally witnessed Valerie speak to thousands of women at Passion City Church. And, heard both Valerie and Steve speak to the congregation at Dunwoody United Methodist Church. They can endure the pain because the love of Jesus sustains them…and they are helping other sufferers along the way.
Romans 8:18 – I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
I invite you to listen to an interview with Valerie and Steve by Penny from 104.7 The Fish’s “Keep the Faith” show. This is a follow-up to the segment The Fish ran last year about Doug Allen’s beautiful and original “Halle’s Song” that he wrote and sang at Halle’s funeral last year. It will air 4/27 during the 7 PM hour on FM Radio’s 104.7 The Fish.
