In partnership with the Peachtree Road Farmers Market, COUNTRY Financial is excited to announce the fifth annual Peachtree Road Farmers Market Reusable Bag Design Contest. The competition presents an opportunity for students to showcase their talent on reusable shopping bags that will be distributed at the Peachtree Road Farmers Market throughout the season.
This year’s theme is “Give, Grow and Be Green.” We’re hoping that student entries will reflect the fact that the Pantone Color Institute has announced that green is the color of the year! While we feel that green is the perfect color year-round, it really relates to new and fresh spring foliage, when nature really comes to life. All entries must include the phrase “2017 Peachtree Road Farmers Market – celebrating 10 years!”
The reusable shopping bags are part of the Peachtree Road Farmers Market initiative to promote healthy, environmentally friendly communities. Thousands of farmers markets attendees will receive these custom designed tote bags this season, free of charge.
The student who submits the winning design will receive a $1,000 scholarship and the opportunity to have his/her artwork displayed on reusable shopping bags distributed throughout the city.
Additionally, two runners-up will each receive a $500 scholarship. These designs will be unveiled on April 15 at the Peachtree Road Farmers Market, and the three finalists will be invited to attend.
All entries must be received at the address below by Friday, March 10 at 4 p.m. EST.
