Chamblee High Streetscape Update

 

Between late November 2016 and early June 2017, Chamblee-Dunwoody Road near Chamblee Charter High School will undergo significant road and sidewalk improvements. Work will occur on both sides of the street immediately adjacent to our school, up to a mile and half down Chamblee-Dunwoody Road towards 285. The city of Chamblee published this brief summary and visual example below about the work. Please expect traffic to be heavier on Chamblee-Dunwoody Road during this time period of the road improvements. We have made arrangements with the city and the contractors for work to be limited during final exams in December and May. Please plan accordingly when using Chamblee-Dunwoody Road heading towards Chamblee Charter High School for the next 6-8 months. We will apprise the school community of any relevant updates from the city of Chamblee and the contractor on the scope and pace of the work.
