GAME ON!
Dunwoody, GA (October 27, 2016) – The DHS Community Association is partnering with Dunwoody High School to officially launch the GAME ON! Capital Campaign to raise funds for dramatically improving and enhancing athletic facilities at Dunwoody High School. The launch comes on the heels of a recently completed professional feasibility study that confirmed both the capacity and intent among potential donors to support the campaign. The goal of the GAME ON! campaign is to raise $2 million to cover the cost of adding a multi-sport artificial turf field with a re-surfaced track, outdoor lighting for the softball and multi-sport field, spectator seating, a field house with restrooms, concessions, locker rooms, weight room, etc., along with a maintenance fund to help maintain the facilities. The capital campaign is expected to run over the next three years.

“We want the improvements to benefit both our athletic programs and the entire Dunwoody community. Our football, soccer, track, and lacrosse teams, as well as our band and physical education classes, will be thrilled to have the new surfaces for some of their games, their practices, and activities. Substantial donations have already been promised. We are optimistic that we can begin construction on Phase 1 as early as summer, 2017. There are multiple donation levels so everyone can get behind this effort to partner with us in making our dream become a reality. It will be a point of pride for everyone in the Dunwoody community.
