***Important reminder for parents regarding PSAT Registration***

The PSAT is Weds, Oct. 19, 2016!
Ever since the 2008 recession, many high schools that formerly covered the registration cost of the PSAT now have students pay the registration fee of $15-18, depending on the school.
Most schools have been reminding students beginning last week that the deadline to pay/register for the PSAT is mid-September. Students who miss the deadline will miss the PSAT, which is just offered on one day each year.
Students should take the PSAT every year that their high school allows (almost all schools offer it for sophomores and juniors, and a few offer it to freshmen.) Juniors are especially encouraged to register for the PSAT as this is also the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (NMSQT)!
