Peachtree Charter Middle School’s Track needs support from the Dunwoody Community. I am acting alone as a concerned parent at PCMS requesting 30 Dunwoody businesses and/or Community Organizations support the October 1 5k with a $100 sponsorship.
Dear Community Leader:
The students at PCMS need your help to get a new running track. The current track is not only an eye sore but is responsible for multiple injuries throughout the year. We can no longer wait on the Dekalb School System to do anything about the issue. The track was used as the place construction trucks parked during the construction of the new building 6-7 years ago. It remains in this broken condition. Presently, our children use the broken asphalt track on a daily basis for PE and track practice. Every student utilizes the track. Every elementary school feeds to PCMS and every current elementary student will get to use a new, safe track if we act today and raise the money needed for the track. I am asking 30 Dunwoody Businesses/Organizations to sponsor us at the $100 level in the next 30 days. If you respond before Sept. 1 we will put your name on the back of the 5K t-shirt. Other sponsorships are available- read below. We need to raise $80,000 in total. Our goal is $20,000 for the 2011-2012 year.

$500 Level: 4 spots lefts- Logo and 4 lines of Ad on shirt/Materials added to our running day bags
$250 Level:( 6 spots left) 2 Lines of Ad on shirt and materials added to running day bag ( sorry churches and religious organizations cannot add ad materials to bags according to Dekalb County Schools)
$100 Level: One line- Thanking you as a Sponsor
