The Site Specific Parks Master Plan Design Team will conduct a series of on-site design workshops with the city’s youth to help create plans for the future development of playgrounds at Georgian Hills, Murphey Candler and Blackburn parks. The workshops will be conducted in an interactive format that will encourage participants to express their ideas through drawings. The images will be used to develop the future programming and designs of each playground facility.
The city of Brookhaven’s Park & Recreation Department encourages the city’s youth to attend these workshops and help us create playgrounds for everyone to use and enjoy.
