Alexander (Ty) Flynn of Dunwoody was killed Friday in a fatal fall from a building east of downtown Atlanta.
Ty was a member of the Dunwoody High School Class of 2015 and a student at Georgia College and State University (GCSU) in Milledgeville.
Apparently Flynn and friends were exploring an abandoned building that is often used as a movie set. He stepped onto a fiberglass skylight and plunged 50 feet to his death.
Ty worked at Dunwoody’s Jett Ferry Chick-fil-A and was just awarded a Chick-fil-A business internship that was scheduled to begin soon. While at DHS Ty was on the Debate team, and played guitar and double bass in the orchestra. Ty has been described as a very hard worker with a sunny disposition. He will be truly missed.
