Construction work has begun on the new Peachtree Crossing retail center, located at the intersection of Peachtree Industrial Blvd. and Johnson Ferry Road. The main anchor is a 45,000-square-foot Whole Foods Marketplace. Other tenants in the 107,000-square-foot center will include Zoes Kitchen, Yeah Burger, Taqueria del Sol, Octane Coffee, Chipotle Mexican Grill and Tokyo Belly, a sushi restaurant. Developer S.J. Collins plans a spring 2017 opening. This center represents some of the recent and exciting new growth in this corner of Atlanta where Brookhaven meets Chamblee. Brookleigh Market on Johnson Ferry Road near Ashford Dunwoody is booming, and Parkview on Peachtree is under construction on Peachtree Industrial near Clairmont Road. Perhaps Peachtree “Industrial” will become entirely passé!
