Note from Audra: Someone asked me about a mugging at Kroger last week. This freaks me out. Afterall, this is “my” Kroger. I shop there all the time…..Stay alert everyone…no matter where you are!
Update from Sandy Springs Police:
On 4/17/2016 at approx 7:11 p.m. Officer McGinnis of the SSPD responded to an attempted robbery and mugging of a white female who was on the ground bleeding after an attempt to snatch her purse. RMA unit arrived on scene and treated her injuries. A white male (30-40 years of age) wearing a black long sleeve shirt was trying to take her purse but was unsuccessful. He departed in a burgundy Chevy S-10 pickup and may have been recorded on Kroger’s surveillance cameras.
