DUNWOODY, Ga. — After multiple blasts exploded inside the Brussels Airport and at a metro station, a local high school is scraping a class trip to the European country.
According to Principal of Dunwoody High School Tom McFerrin, a group of about 20 students and chaperones were scheduled to fly into Brussels for an educational spring break tour on April 2.
In a statement to 11Alive’s Jennifer Leslie, a meeting is planned early Wednesday morning to work out a new itinerary that will not include Brussels. Read more
