DUNWOODY, GA — Police arrested 11 people in an undercover sex sting operation in Dunwoody last week.
According to Dunwoody police, the operation took place on March 3 and was conducted with the FBI Metro Atlanta Child Exploitation Task Force, the DeKalb Anti-Trafficking and Exploitation Task Force and Gwinnett County vice cops.
Police arrested two subjects for pimping and nine people for prostitution.
“This operation would not have been possible without the close working relationship with the business and hotel community,” said Chief Billy Grogan. “The goal of operations such as these is to first and foremost rescue any children or young adults who are victims of sex trafficking. We also want to remove those profiting from commercial sex trafficking by putting them in jail.” Read more
