ATLANTA — Some metro Atlanta cities want to see if gondolas can help cure their transportation woes. The cities of Sandy Springs, Dunwoody and Brookhaven are expected to commission a study of that and other transportation alternatives.
“Yeah, you’ve gone up Stone Mountain in a gondola. About $5 million a mile (construction cost)” said Mayor Rusty Paul of Sandy Springs.
