In The Guest Room, Kristin agrees to let her husband, Richard, host his brother’s bachelor party. She expects drinking and maybe even a few party girls so she takes her daughter to visit her mom in NYC, leaving the boys to be boys. What she does not expect is this: over the top drunkenness, her husband sharing an intimate moment in the guest room, and two women stabbing and killing their Russian bodyguards in her Westchester home before driving off into the night.
The aftermath spins her life out of control and you learn how she deals with forgiveness (or not). You also learn more about that “intimate moment” and how her husband and the working girls deal with the aftermath of the murders.
This is an entertaining, thought provoking, page turner! I gave it 4/5 stars on Goodreads!
