DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people with whom you will learn about and discuss important information on relevant topics (depression, loneliness, faith, finances, anger and others) through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone. Or tell a friend who may need this support. Divorce Care for Kids (DC4K) is a comprehensive 13-week program that helps children through the grieving process brought on by divorce. It provides children (ages 5-12) with a safe and neutral place to recognize and learn how to share their feelings, and gives them the tools necessary to develop healthier relationships within their own families. If you know someone going through a divorce, make sure he or she knows about these groups; it might just be the best thing you could do to help. These 2 classes, which run concurrently, begin January 20 and continue through April 27, 2016. We will skip Ash Wednesday (Feb 10) and DeKalb County Spring Break (April 6). All classes meet from 6:30 – 8:00: Adults in the Parlor; Kids in Room 240, just down the hall. Nursery is available at no cost for children younger than 5, but you must register.
