DHS Speech and Debate Team Strikes Gold

The Dunwoody High Speech and Debate Team struck gold on their first meet at the RW Johnson High Joust in Gainesville, Georgia. Chloe Kahn was the champ of dramatic interpretation, followed by Katie Miller, placing 2nd, and Caroline White, taking 3rd. Patrick Clinch won humorous interpretation with Zack Humphries placing 2nd. In varsity debate, Ryan Wirtz and Olivia Plumb took 2nd place and Olivia was named Best Speaker in the division. Ryn Matthews and Eliana Greenwald were the winners of Novice Policy Debate with Paris Ruiz & Alexandra Buhl placing second. Eliana Greenwald was named best speaker of the novice debate division, Paris Ruiz was second, and Ryn Matthews, placed third. A great job one and all!
