The Dunwoody Community Garden at Brook Run Park is hosting a DeKalb County Master Gardener seminar, a plant sale and a garden tour on Saturday, October 24, from 9am to noon. Participants will learn about “Square Foot Gardening Year Round” and “Nature-based Play” at the barn in the greenhouse complex opposite the skate park. The talks will be followed by a plant sale and an outing to the nearby garden, where members grow organic food and flowers. Pre-registration is recommended for this DeKalb Extension Master Gardener Program event. $20 before 10/23; $25 at the door. www.dcgo.org.
