City of Brookhaven Parks & Recreation is announcing our 2015-2016 Winter Youth Basketball League. We invite boys and girls, ages 9-14, to sign up to play basketball this winter! This league will be a recreational league. Registration is now open Monday through Friday until Oct. 16.
Participants must turn 9 years old prior to Jan. 1, 2016. The registration fee is $125 per child for city residents and $150 per child for non-city residents. Registration will be accepted at the Parks and Recreation main office of Lynwood Community Center, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Registrations will also be accepted via fax, mail and online at www.brookhavenga.gov/city-departments/parks-recreation-/activities-programs. Mailed or faxed registrations forms must include payment and be received by Oct. 14.
Practices are scheduled to begin the week of Nov. 2. Games are scheduled to begin Dec. 5 and may continue until the end of February.
