I mentioned yesterday that I experienced a Comcast outage that lasted more than 5 days. Since I couldn’t work efficiently I had to find other things to do that I normally don’t make time for. Jill Post, owner of Face Haven had invited me to visit so I decided to book an appointment and head over there. I really never pamper myself except to eat out at lots of great restaurants and get my nails done… so this was sort of a big step for me! After talking it through with Jill, I decided to try a Dermaplaning treatment.
Jill used a surgical scalpel to gently remove all of the dry and dead skin from my face which simultaneously removed all the “peach fuzz” hair! Then she applied a custom serum and rejuvenating gel mask. The whole process was so soothing and relaxing and now my face feels like a smooth newborn baby’s! Uh oh, now I’m hooked!
When we wrapped up my treatment Jill gave me a tour. Face Haven is not really a spa…it is more of a place to get advanced treatments, educational seminars and consultations to help you with lasting results for the health of your skin. Plus, they have the coolest blue chandelier!
