Hi! I’m Mandy and I will be starting Dunwoody’s first Health Fair for my Girl Scout Gold Award project. This fair will take place on September 12th from 9am-12pm in Dunwoody Baptist Church’s gym and I expect somewhere between 200-500 people to attend. I will have over 25 vendors (who will make $50 donations to the church, arrive at 8am and depart at 1pm) set up tables around the gym and offer a variety of health-related examinations, visuals, free samples and informational pamphlets. During the course of the fair various instructors and lecturers will lead 15-minute seminars in the Dunwoody Baptist Gym Lobby. These demos will be free to lead, however, they are only for the first 12 groups who contact me about them. I will open the doors for the fair at 9 and ask that each person donate a minimum of $1 to enter the fair. Each person who enters will receive a wristband so that I am able to accurately calculate the amount of people my fair reached.
