KINGSWOOD’s VENTURING CREW 477

All interested in Outdoor Adventure are invited to the next meeting of Kingswood’s Venturing Crew in the Scout Hut, Thursday June 30, from 7:30 – 8:45 PM. We will be planning some upcoming activities including a kayak/canoe trip on the North Georgia’s Toccoa River. We will be accepting membership applications that night as well. Young women aged 14-20 are especially encouraged to come and participate. Adults and parents interested in providing support are most welcome as well. A Venture Crew is a co-ed unit of the Boy Scouts of America for ages 14-20. Interested 12 & 13 year old’s are welcome as guests/prospective members and can join on their 14th birthday. Our Crew is currently accepting female members only and will “go co-ed” at a later date. So, if camping, backpacking, cycling, white water, climbing/rappelling, and other outdoor adventure excite you, then this is the group for you. See you there.
