Check your pantry: Kroger says spices sold at Georgia stores might contain Salmonella

The Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR) recalled four of its store-brand spices sold at stores in Georgia and several other states due to concerns the products might be contaminated with Salmonella.

Here’s the list of what they are recalling:

  • Kroger Ground Cinnamon
  • Kroger Garlic Powde
  • Kroger Coarse Ground Black Pepper
  • Kroger Bac’n Buds

A sample of Kroger Garlic Powder from a store in North Augusta, S.C., was tested by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and found to be contaminated with Salmonella. No illnesses have been reported.
