Congratulations to the girls varsity soccer team for capturing the first ever region championship for the program and school in girls soccer! The team defeated Druid Hills in a hard fought game on Friday by the score 2-1. Lauren St. Onge and Holley Leech provided the scoring for the wildcats. Talley Mills and Anna Dolder along with the rest of the team’s defensive effort secured this first place championship finish.
The team will host Chapel Hill HS on April 28 at North Dekalb Stadium in the first round of the state championships.
The Lady Wildcats were undefeated in Region play and scored 62 goals during the regular season and the tournament with only 1 goal against.
