Lemonade Days: Important Info from the Dunwoody Police

Update:

Due to the forecasted rains, the event has been moved up to the front end of the park, to keep all rides on flat asphalt.  There will be NO N. Peachtree access from now thru Sunday 6pm. The front gate will be closed tonight, Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sat during non-event hours, and barricades that people can walk around will be up during event hours, through Sunday at 6pm.  Peeler Rd entrance will be open for Dog Park and other parking towards that end of the park.  Parking for Lemonade Days is available at Kingwood United Methodist Church, Crossroads Church of Dunwoody, Peachtree Middle School, St. Barnabas Church, and St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church, although a few of those churches will have signs on Sunday, designating what time our parking may start (after their services are over).  The other option is to enter at the Peeler Rd entrance of the park, and park towards the dog park end of the park, along the road. The Barclay Rd entry to the park via the walking path is still viable, but it will probably be a longer walk from the PCMS lot if you go that route, since the event is not near that entrance this year.  Handicapped parking will be available, but those drivers will need to enter at the Peeler Rd entrance

 Original Post:

In an effort to ensure public safety at Lemonade Days, the Dunwoody Police Department will be implementing the following guidelines:

  • Barclay Drive between Fire House #18 and N. Peachtree Road will be CLOSED during operating hours of Lemonade Days and there will be no parking.
  • Parking within neighborhoods will be limited to one side of roadway.  Illegally parked vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense.
  • Dog Park will remain open.  All vehicular traffic to Dog Park must use Peeler Road entrance.
  • Visitors parking at Peachtree Charter Middle School may use side entrance off Barclay Drive.
  • Handicap parking will be available inside the park using N. Peachtree entrance.

Lemonade Days will be April 15-19th
