Volunteers Needed for Susan G Komen Race

My name is Kimberly De Fino and I am the Volunteer Chair for Susan G Komen’s Race for the Cure. This is a 5k Run/Walk event that raises money locally for the medically underserved in need of breast cancer screening, diagnostic and support services. Komen Atlanta is a volunteer driven organization led by a group of dedicated board members, volunteers and staff – again, all funds raised stay here in Atlanta! I am looking for people to volunteer for the event as well as fund raise and run/walk the event. I am not just looking for individuals to volunteer, I would love to see some Dunwoody Clubs, Youth Groups, Tennis Leagues and Neighborhood Groups volunteer as well. There are different ways to volunteer: They can form a team, raise funds and RUN the Race (8am start time), volunteer to help a the Race on May 9th – shifts run approx. 545am – 10am OR – volunteer for Packet Pick up which runs in different shifts from 9a-9pm May 6th, 7th and 8th at Lenox Mall.
