After responding to two calls this week, Dunwoody police are warning parents not to leave their children in cars.
The two calls came within minutes of each other on New Year’s Eve.
The first call came around 4 p.m. Police said a 3-year-old was left unattended in a Target parking lot. Authorities said the child’s father pulled up to the fire lane and went shopping while the child slept in the car.
The second call came about 10 minutes later and involved a 6-year-old girl.
In both cases, the children were OK.
