I think either you like The Hobbit/Lord of the Rings movies or you don’t. The fantasy adventure genre is certainly not for everyone. My oldest and I are HUGE fans and have seen them all. My husband and my youngest…not so much. We have a big group of movie aficionados in our extended family but I could only get the two 16 year olds to go see the last Hobbit adventure with me! Those two were more than happy to go with me and we all three LOVED it. I love the good winning out over evil theme and the creativity and special effects. They loved the fighting and the beautiful scenery. Now I’ve got to find a way to get my 16 year old a trip to New Zealand. Hmmm…
