Dunwoody High School Elects Very Special Homecoming Queen and King

“I’m bursting with Wildcat Pride”…just one of MANY comments when I posted these three pictures to my personal Facebook page last night!   The Senior Class at Dunwoody High School nominated 10 boys and 10 girls to their Homecoming Court.   Last night at halftime the King and Queen were announced.    Apparently the victory was a landslide for both Hannah Keen and Gus Ashbury!

I’ve known Hannah Keen since she was an elementary school student at Vanderlyn Elementary.  Her inner sparkle shines for all to see….and apparently her fellow seniors wanted the world to see her shine in her beautiful homecoming crown!  Gus Phelps is equally handsome in his kingly crown!

My sophomore son warned me after school on Friday:  “Mom, get ready to cry.  Hannah’s going to win…and so is Gus”.   The kids of DHS have made my heart swell with love and pride.  I’m so honored to be a Dunwoody High School parent!
