Chesnut Charter Elementary School today announced that it has been awarded a $2,500 grant from Action for Healthy Kids® (AFHK), the nation’s leading nonprofit and largest volunteer network fighting childhood obesity and undernourishment by working with schools to improve nutrition and physical activity. The grant will support improvements to Chesnut’s playground.
