A: The green ribbons are on many mailboxes in the Greater Branches neighborhood and at all the neighborhood entrances as a sign of support and solidarity for Virginia Lane, who recently lost her husband, Bill. Virginia has been a longstanding active neighborhood member and has been at the helm of The Branches swim team for many years.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Marist School’s endowment for tuition assistance.
