Young Life Club has been meeting in homes in our community on a weekly basis for years and for that I’m grateful. In the last year, we have seen tremendous growth and have outgrown that ability. Just Monday night, 135 high school students from Dunwoody met for our first Young Life Club of the year. We met outside because the home we were having it in couldn’t fit more than the 95 kids in their basement. We know that because that’s how many kids it held last fall and there wasn’t room to spare.
Needing a bigger space is a great problem to have, but it’s still a problem. I am reaching out to our great community to enlist your help! We are in need of a neighborhood club house, store front, or any space that you can think of that might be good for 100+ kids to meet in on Monday nights.
Our needs include having a reliable space every Monday night from 6:30-9:30pm, parking capabilities, and low or no cost. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.
For those of you who are unfamiliar, Young Life is a non-profit outreach ministry to teenagers. For more information, visit our website at the link below.
