Get to Know the Apple of Our Eye; Celebrating Teachers All Year Long!

Andrea-BurgosMs. Burgos is selected as the Teacher of the Month for April!

Ms. Burgos shares her Primrose experience: “I am so excited to be April’s Apple of Our Eye! I am the Assistant Teacher for Pre-K and Kindergarten, as well as the Sr. Explorers. I joined the Primrose of Dunwoody team in September of 2013 and it has been a wonderful time spent with the children and their families. I have a Bachelor’s Degree and have been teaching for over 7 years. I enjoy working with children because every day is filled with excitement and joy. I love the well rounded curriculum of Primrose which is one of the reasons that attracted me when I joined. I absolutely love teaching here and appreciate the very supportive staff.
I moved from New York to Georgia about 6 years ago with my family. Although New York will always be in my heart, Georgia is now my home. I have two beautiful nieces that I love dearly, Analis and Maya who are 4 and 2 years old.

In my spare time, I love reading, going to the movies and spending time outdoors! Coming from New York City, I definitely appreciate the mountains and hiking trails all over GA. Let’s see what new adventures I continue to discover!”

Congratulations to Ms. Burgos!
