Atlanta Food & Wine Festival

We are proud to announce our Inaugural year of the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival!

As a fellow food and wine lover, we’d love to invite you to volunteer during the Festival. Volunteer opportunities run from Monday, May 16 – Sunday, May 22.  Typically volunteer shifts are approximately 4-5 hours. Volunteering for multiple shifts is highly encouraged. Please note, all volunteers must be 21 or older, no exceptions.

We are looking for enthusiastic, fun, and flexible volunteers to fill roles that vary from Welcome Tent Registration to Tasting Tent Supervisors to Recycling Managers. If you’ve got 4-5 hours available during the weekend, we could use you! All volunteers will be receiving a t-shirt and the volunteers who do 3 or more shifts will receive a signed item by one of our headliner Chefs.

The Atlanta Food & Wine Festival is the nation’s first culinary weekend that will unite leaders of their craft – barbecue pitmasters, award-winning chefs and mixologists, Master Sommeliers, fry cooks and local growers – in the spirit of celebrating the rich food and beverage traditions of the South. The AF&WF will feature more than 200 activities over four days, including tasting tents, seminars, chef demonstrations, theme dinners and special events featuring whole animal roasts, regional craft beer tastings, a variety of Southern barbecue, and fine wines and cocktails from some of the country’s top talents.  All activities are connected to the festival’s three themes: old traditions, new traditions, and imports and inspirations (aka “other Southern”).

We’ve made it very easy to sign up online. Visit www.AtlFoodAndWineFestival.com, click on the Volunteer button, and sign up for the time slot that works the best for you. There are lots of opportunities to choose from. After you sign up, I will personally follow up with you within a couple of days. Please feel free to pass this email along to your friends and invite them to volunteer at the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival with you!
