Read the DeKalb County Press Release
Basically the press release states that the Governor will pardon up to 7 days. DeKalb has 8 missed days. Thurmond is proposing we make up 3 days by adding them to the end of the calendar. He is also proposing to shift testing around so that there is more instructional time BEFORE the standardized testing to teach the kids the material. The DeKalb Board of Education will vote on this next week.
