The Golden Ribbon Rhythmic Gymnastic Team will host the Star Cup Invitational on Saturday, March 1 and Sunday, March 2 at North Springs High School. Rhythmic Gymnastics is an Olympic sport that continues to gain popularity in the United States.

On March 1 – 2, 2014, Atlanta will become the destination of choice for rhythmic gymnasts from around the globe. The Golden Ribbon team will host other gymnasts from Russia, Ukraine, Japan, Canada, Bulgaria, Uzbekistan, and many other countries. The Ukraine and Russia are well known for consistently producing world champion rhythmic gymnasts. They are preparing to send their top gymnasts to the Star Cup this year. There will be a gymnast competing who earned the Bronze Medal at both the Beijing and Athens Olympic Games. Having this caliber of talent competing in the Star Cup Tournament helps to further establish the Star Cup and Atlanta as a destination of choice in the international rhythmic gymnastics community this year and beyond.
