If a tree or very large limb falls near you there are several important steps to take.
If a tree falls:
- On roadway or right of way – Call City of Dunwoody Public Works Department (678-382-6850)
- On power lines – Call Georgia Power (1-888-891-0938 or www.georgiapower.com) and keep clear of area.
- On private property – Call a private contractor/tree specialist
- On your home or auto – Call homeowners insurance company and private contractor/tree specialist
Remember to NEVER touch or go near downed power lines and always use extreme caution when walking on ice.
