The Earth Speaks Poetry Series
Budding poets, storytellers, and writers aged 12-18 are invited to join with poet Lizzy Fox www.lizzyfoxpoetry.com and deepen their personal connection with nature through writing and performance. Using the Nature Center’s 22 acres, this course will focus on sensory language, quiet observation, and storytelling to connect you, personally, with nature. Each class will end with a final sharing and feedback to promote confidence and hone performance techniques. Participants are welcome to sign up for just one workshop or all six. Individualized instruction allows the coursework to build over the series or begin fresh each week.
Mondays from 5:00-6:30
Classes run from February 24th through March 31st
Classes are $15 each or $75 in advance for all 6 classes (All supplies included)
