I am writing to share a story of a Good Samaritan. Last Tuesday, I was having a bad day. I had a fever, but went to work, then drove my kids to tennis and karate. While one daughter was in karate, I deposited a check at my ATM, then withdrew $80. I’m blaming this on exhaustion and the fever, as I then drove away without my cash. I called my bank the next day when I realized it, but after being on hold for an hour, gave up. Saturday morning when the branch opened, I went in and asked if by some lucky chance the car that had been waiting behind me had turned in the money. No such luck.
Two hours later, the teller from the bank called and told me that about 5 minutes after I left, a woman had come in and returned my money!!! THANK YOU, Dawn C! You made my day, and I’ll be happy every time I think about it, and certainly not just because of the money. I hope you don’t mind your name in print, but I want all of your neighbors to know what a wonderful thing you did.
Very sincerely,
Jen Marion
