Primrose_logo_greenThe students, staff and families from Primrose School of Dunwoody came together to raise $7,467 for the Primrose Children’s Foundation®. Funding raised from the Dunwoody school was donated directly to the Atlanta Chapter of Reach Out and Read®, a local branch of one of the Foundation’s national charitable partners.

More than 270 Primrose schools across the nation raise money each year for the Primrose Children’s Foundation, as well as hundreds of other local charities. Over the past seven years, the Primrose School of Dunwoody has been recognized as one of the top three contributors to The Primrose Children’s Foundation, and specifically to Reach Out and Read.

Since the partnership with Reach Out and Read began eight years ago, the Primrose Children’s Foundation has donated more than $1.2 million to enable the organization’s partner pediatricians to improve literacy by distributing more than 250,000 new books for children who need it most.

“Our families are truly dedicated to Reach Out and Read and their efforts to make a difference in literacy outcomes for young children,” said Cami Nail, Franchise Owner of Primrose School of Dunwoody. “This effort also helps give our students meaningful experiences that teach the importance of giving back.”

The Primrose Children’s Foundation has made a lasting impact on the lives of young children and their families. This year, families and staff of Primrose Schools, The Leader in Educational Child Care™, raised more than a quarter million dollars for the Primrose Children’s Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization. Funding from the $268,160 raised will be donated to national charitable partners, Reach Out and Read and Save the Children, as well as other organizations that support children and families.
