Community Meeting on Dunwoody Independent School District Feasibility Study

Dunwoody Parents Concerned about Quality Education will host a community meeting to review the Dunwoody Independent School District Feasibility Study on Sunday, December 15 at 2:00 pm in the Great Hall of St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church, 1978 Mt. Vernon Road in Dunwoody.

The purpose of the Feasibility Study was to assess the viability of an independent school system for the Dunwoody community.  The report, commissioned by the City of Dunwoody, assesses whether educational services provided to the City of Dunwoody by the DeKalb County School District could be provided more efficiently with a leaner organizational form.  (The report can be reviewed here:  http://dunwoodyga.gov/Files/New%20folder/DISD%20report%20131123%201800%20final.pdf.)

Dunwoody Parents Concerned about Quality Education is a 501(c)3 organization that explores options for improving public education in Dunwoody and to educate the residents of Dunwoody on those options.
