The Dunwoody volleyball team beat Lakeside High School in the Region 6 AAAAA volleyball championship on Saturday. After not defeating rival Lakeside for 8 years, they beat them 25-13, 22-25, 26-24 in the morning and came back to sweep them 25-16, 25-20, 25-19 in the afternoon to win their first region title since 2005. They will host a first round state playoff game this Thursday at Dunwoody High School against Warner Robins.
