I was lucky enough to take an advance tour last month with the women from the Dunwoody Woman’s Club.   I saw 4 of the 5 houses and had such a great time.   I snuck two friends (Debbie and Marcy) in with me and they enjoyed themselves too!   I must say that the house in Springfield Subdivision was definitely my favorite and was TOTALLY worth the price of the whole ticket just to see this one house!  I happen to know the owner,  and was just brimming with pride at what a beautiful home my lovely friend has created.   Again,  all the houses are great, so purchase your tickets soon!   I took great pictures that I had planned to share but my photos have mysteriously disappeared.  Hopefully I will find them and can share later!

Miller Home
Originally from Louisiana, the owners of this home were attracted by its New Orleans flavor. Graceful wrought iron railings on the two-story front porch or galerie and tall, symmetrical doors and windows giving access to the porches from interior rooms are typical of the French Colonial aesthetic familiar to New Orleans but unusual in Dunwoody.
