Why wait to sign up to volunteer for Norcross Art Fest?! It’s a little more than a month away! Note: If you have already signed up, check below to see if you won tickets to see “Ghost” at the Fabulous Fox Theater.
Art Fest is turnin’ 10 this year and it will be here before you know it! On October 5 and 6 our downtown will be transformed into a fabulous outdoor festival with 150+ artists, food vendors, musical performances, children’s activities, sponsors, and lots of fun for the young and young at heart.
The Norcross Art Fest would not be the tremendous success it is each year without our phenomenal VOLUNTEERS! In years past, you generously donated your time to help make Norcross Art Fest the enormous success that it was. Norcross Art Fest 2013 plans are well underway and with your help, we can make this the best festival we’ve ever had! We hope that you will join us again this year as a volunteer. For many of us, it’s become our annual fall tradition!
So many of you have already volunteered and thanks to the wonderful response to our call for volunteers, we have over 150+ slots filled but we still have about 160 slots yet to fill by mid-September. WE NEED YOUR HELP to achieve that goal so why wait?!? All adult volunteers will receive a volunteer T-shirt (sporting the whimsical artwork at the top of this email). As usual, all adult volunteers are invited to have pizza at Paizano’s on Sunday evening, October 6th, to celebrate another successful Art Fest.

Student Volunteers
The Student Volunteer registration page for Norcross Art Fest is now open and available! If you have a student in your family that needs to earn some community service hours for school, this is a great opportunity (not to mention a lot of fun) for them. Please have them sign up on the Student volunteer page HERE.

You Can Win tickets to “Ghost” at the Fabulous Fox Theater!
As a special treat to celebrate 10 Fabulous years of Norcross Art Fest, Splash Festivals is providing pairs of tickets to a November performance of the play, “Ghost” at The Fabulous Fox Theatre to selected registered volunteers. Each week during our recruitment drive, we will honor our registered volunteers by holding a drawing for tickets.

Each week, all volunteers who have signed up for a volunteer shift at Art Fest will be entered in the drawing. Each week through the end of volunteer recruitment, TWO volunteers will each win a pair of tickets. You get an entry for each volunteer shift you register for – so if you volunteer for more than one shift, you increase your chances of winning! Also, since drawings are weekly, the earlier you register the more chances you have to win. The winners may pick up their “Ghost” tickets when they check-in for their shift the weekend of Art Fest.
After you register as a volunteer, you will continue to receive these updates each week as we announce the winners of the weekly drawing for “Ghost” tickets at the Fox. Don’t forget to check these weekly updates to see if you a winner! If you have friends, neighbors, or co-workers who may be interested in getting involved in this festival, please forward this email so that they also have a chance to participate!
Registrants who win the drawing, but do not show up for their shift, will not receive the tickets. They will be awarded to another volunteer in a later drawing to take place after the festival.
