Contribute to the School Supply Grant Challenge and Help More Local Children!
The Community Assistance Center’s school supply drive is underway! Your donations make a difference in the lives of local children in need by helping to prepare them for school. CAC expects to distribute more than 800 back packs with school supplies during the first week of August. You can donate back packs and supplies or contribute to a matching gift challenge by a Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church parishioner. Every dollar raised will be matched by the donor! A wholesale provider has agreed to sell us supplies at 50 percent of the lowest retail cost. As a result, every dollar you give becomes four dollars worth of supplies thanks to our generous donor and vendor! Please consider donating to this great cause. Donate online at www.ourcac.org or make checks to Community Assistance Center with “HIEC school supplies” in the memo. Mail to: CAC PO Box 501298, Atlanta, GA 31150. The donation match challenge ends on Labor Day. Last year, the Holy Innocents challenge helped CAC distribute more than 700 backpacks to students and impacted an additional 1,000 students through the “Teachers’ Closet” which provides school supplies to teachers throughout the year.
